I find myself seeking a deeper connection in life and allowing myself to feel what these families feel for their dogs, brings me joy.
In each picture that I receive to paint, I fall in love with the dog! It makes creating a permanent memory for them fairly easy and enjoyable.
Along with dog portraits, I enjoy branching out and painting various other subjects.
If I had to describe who "Taylor Hart" is, I would say warm, an enthusiast of change, and a wildly, free spirit. I am a Childhood Education major at SUNY Oswego with an intense passion to love, teach, and leave an impact. On top of college, I run a small independent art business that I've called Made With Hart.
A.R Lucas says, "They don't understand you because your heart bleeds colors the world has never seen before." This statement seems to resonate within my artwork. I am driven by a deep sense of altruism and empathy for other people and animals. And of course, my dog is the love of my life.
My realistic paintings are done primarily in oil and acrylic paint. The abstract art is typically done using watercolor and guache. I feel that each subject painted, demonstrates a unique look that will allow me to determine the medium I use in the piece at hand.
I sell paintings on both canvas and high-quality paper depending on the preference of the customer.
